[Butlersville, Indiana] – L2 Defense was awarded a contract to support Guardian Response 2023 (GR22), a National Level Military Exercise in direct support of the event’s Prime contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton.  L2 Defense, in collaboration with industry partners, government agencies, and military units, conducted the Guardian Response 2023 Exercise to evaluate the nation’s defense capabilities and response to potential CBRN and All-Hazard threats within the United States of America. The exercise was held from April 10th to May 6th and involved a simulated terrorist attack that produced a wide variety of second and third-order effects.

The Guardian Response 2023 Exercise was designed to test the preparedness and response of our military response forces.  The exercise included participation from various mission units with over 3500 soldiers exercised is an accurate count on behalf of both the Army (including Army Reserve and National Guard components), Air Force, and Marine Corps (CBIRF) participants.

At the peak of the exercise, L2 Defense had over 200 trainers and Subject Matter Experts on the ground for this national-level exercise.  L2’s team supported this event for 27 days (APR 10-MAY 6), of which 12 days included 24/7 operations. 

The success of the Guardian Response 2023 Exercise is a testament to the commitment and expertise of all participants and serves as a reminder of the importance of ongoing training and preparation in the face of evolving national threats.  L2 Defense was honored to support this annual exercise and continue to stand Behind Every Hero.
