Michael Vernoia has nearly 30 years of experience in the application and management of ILS functions. With Bachelors degree in engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, he possesses a full understanding of equipment systems and how to best influence system designs to optimize ILS characteristics. Mr. Vernoia is an expert provisioner and ILS analyst and has performed and managed the full gamut of ILS tasking required by the defense acquisition process.

His other ILS skill sets include technical manual development, ILS/supportability plan development, reliability engineering and warranty analyses. He has served as an ILS manager or senior logistician on projects that range from support of simple equipment components to complex integrated systems.

Mr. Vernoia’s experience includes work in support of the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation, the UK Ministry of Defence and numerous commercial projects. He has a strong background in ILS support for CBRN defense programs through the Edgewood Chemical and Biological Center and C4ISR programs through Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Prior to joining L2 Defense, Mr. Vernoia held technical and leadership ILS positions with a number of small and large defense contractors.
